THE PORTFOLIO

Our portfolio contains selected Simple Klick projects. Please keep in mind the images below do not do the actual websites justice. So visit the sites for yourself. (And why not check out our clients wonderful products while you're there?!)

Client: Fuel Catering Co.
Launched: July 2005
Visit: fuelcc.com
Concept: Compact. Pretty. Right to the point. The Fuel site couldn’t be leaner. All information is displayed on one screen length (meaning no scrolling) as a result of the rolling text box that has been built into the content area of the site. It’s a trendy design and by no means overbearing.

Client: Sally Mccubbin Glass Design
Launched: February 2006
Visit: sallymccubbin.com
Concept:This site is contained in a post-card style layout. Although appearing small it is mighty. Flash animation is used to add some swank to this artists' online gallery and regular popup windows provide enlarged close-ups of essential details within the art. An order form allows users to buy selected pieces of Sally Mccubbin's art. The layout was created by another graphic artist, Simple Klick brought the project to life.

Client: Centre For The Arts
Launched: May 2005
Visit: centreforthearts.com
Concept: A massive overhaul of the previous CFA site. Changes involved rebuilding the site from scratch in order to better appeal to an audience of artists and industry execs alike within a large age demographic. The news and events section on the left side of the site displays critical information on every page. The 80+ page site is fully searchable.

Content is divided into global sections on the upper navigation bar. The global sections contain pages with graphical sub-navigation systems (as seen above on the left side). Each of those sub-menus has pop-out child menus as well. The three levels of navigation allow readers to easily sift their way through the large volume of content on the site.

Client: Reno Associates
Launched: November 2005
Visit: renoassociates.ca
Concept: Built in conjunction with the Reno Associates, this site is absolutely professional in form and function and friendly on the eye. Numerous photos throughout the site give it personality. A flash-based slideshow loops within the header breaking up the otherwise static content. The expandable navigation system makes future content additions and organization a breeze.

Client: The Soya Boutique
Launched: February 2006
Visit: thesoyaboutique.com
Concept: The goal was to customize an online store package with the existing look and feel of The Soya Boutique's products. The result? Mission accomplished. The store highlights the beauty of their products and makes purchases so simple that customers find it almost too easy to fill their shopping carts to the brim. The typical bells-and-whistles of what you see in most online store layouts was torn out and behind-the-scenes functionality was revved up with increased security and more powerful sales options.

Client: Jacquie Green
Launched: March 2006
Visit: jacquiegreen.com
Concept: A no-nonsense design highlights Jacquie's work elegantly. Pre-loaders are used to help with the bulk of waiting time inccured by the volume of art displayed. Scrolling layers allow users to view smart thumbnails of her pieces before choosing one for enlargement. CSS techniques create images that popup instantaneously keeping users interested in the art and not bored by endless waiting.

In order to best showcase Jacquie's art rather than the site design, we had to hold back, keeping our design secondary to the content. But - during brief moments of sheer self-adoration we're sure we hold a very, very close second...

Client: J.A. Maccarone
Launched: December 2006
Visit: jamaccarone.com
Concept: Designed like a slick letterhead or annual report this site accomplishes what it needs to by easily conveying basic information to prospective clients. This goes to show that any volume of content can look good.
